Steaming Stone Spa & Salon is a full service Day Spa offering: massage and bodywork, chiropractic care, skin care, waxing services,
a full service hair salon and complete
nail care (manicures and pedicures). We offer a setting of complementary
professions in an environment that is beneficial to our
clientele as well as to the providers offering their
services. The skilled team of service providers at Steaming Stone
Spa & Salon are each their own business entity; leasing space, offering their unique
services, and pricing according to their demand, education, and experience. Each service provider
receives 100% of their set price for every service they
provide and gratuities are much appreciated, but left to our clients
discretion. Our menu of services will fluctuate with
additional staff or staff member's continuing education resulting in a new
service added to his or her repertoire.
WINTER Disclaimer: For the safety of our Clients and Service Providers, we reserve the right to call and cancel or reschedule appointments during severe weather producing dangerous driving conditions. Refunds, Cancellations, and No Shows: All refunds are handled on a case by case basis. All service providers at Steaming Stone Spa are Independent Contractors and separate business entities, therefore the refund policies may be different than listed here. Please contact your technician, stylist, or therapist directly.General Refund Policy: Steaming Stone Spa will not issue any refund on any service where client leaves the premises after the time of service and contacts the business after the fact. The time for any kind of complaint about a service given is during the checkout procedure when the technician, stylist, or therapist can directly handle your complaints or concerns. Steaming Stone Spa will not issue any refund on any product sold unless it is for identical exchange due to defective packaging (i.e. defective lotion pump). In the rare instance Steaming Stone Spa deems some refund for product is in order (i.e. no longer carrying product that is defective), only credit towards product selling technician's services will be issued (ex. product price 'off'' the price of massage with seller of product). No refunds for cash. No refund will be considered for any reason after 10 days. Cancellation Policy: Please allow a minimum of 48 hours for cancellation via online scheduling system. Please call 715-345-2777 if cancelling with less notice. By booking your appointment online, you are committing to the scheduled time and will be expected for your appointment. No Show Policy: If you fail to show for your appointment as expected, your credit card will be charged 50% of the service, or if you notify us of a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, your credit card will be charged 30% of the service to compensate for lost wages of your scheduled service provider if we are unable to fill your reserved time slot. Please notify us immediately if you will not be able to make your appointment time. Gift Certificates & Gift Cards: Gift "Cards" are plastic cards and are loaded with a dollar amount only. In theory they never expire. However, since we changed our gift card vendor the 'old' gift cards (black logo on silver background) will become obsolete on December 31, 2009. If you do not redeem those by that date, it will no longer have value. Current gift cards with full color logo are also a plastic card with a loaded dollar value. Those will never expire as they are processed 'in-house'. They are just for a set dollar value and not for specific services. Gift "Certificates" are coupons or certificates printed on some type of paper (they could be from the Spa directly or printed from purchaser off our website). They should all have an expiration date of 1 year (or less if it is a special coupon). *some gift certificates may still exist with an incorrect printing of "no expiration date"* We usually allow a 'grace' period of up to a second year. After 24 months from date of purchase, all paper form gift certificates start to incur a monthly maintenance fee to eventually reduce their value to zero. |
